2. Wat Pho (The Temple of the Reclining Buddha) This world famous temple is located right next to the Grand Palace, on the south side, it is one of Bangkok’s oldest and largest temples. Wat Pho was built by King Rama I nearly 200 years ago and house the gigantic gold plated reclining Buddha. The unique image is 46 meters in length and 15 meters high with beautifully inlaid mother-of-pearl soles. There are also Thai massages to service everyone.
